Most avoc refuse to fully appreciate Stoneheart on the grounds that his aid of Sca was fruitless, and thus unworthy of worship by the bones of Pale Shores. But if these bones would open their eyes and minds to the unjust dilution of Le’s power, they would understand that it was Lu’Sca’s refusal to take up her work that doomed Sca, not that Le was powerless to help her.

It is unfortunate to the extent of tragedy that Le’s own descendants do not know the true role their ancestor played in the survival of the first generation. These descendants are not only unaware of the true power of their ancestor, they have been misled about what his power fundamentally was. Not was his power to simply placate the self with platitudes and reinforce through the power of the mind, no his power was weaving spells and conjuring protections through magical ability.

It is for this reason that those in this profession have taken it upon ourselves to taking apprentices and passing on this knowledge and craft as best as possible. These skills must be taught, not learned and so it is imperative for us to extend this knowledge to as many avocs as we can, whether they be in the Le clan or otherwise. We have found that avocs of many different clans can learn to use these magics.

Frustratingly, the challenge within the last few decades has been finding apprentices who believe in their own latent abilities and their potential to harness these abilities. While the majority of avocs view Le’s power as affirmational, it has been difficult to find avocs willing to apprentice under a healer due to their lack of belief in being able to harness these abilities.

As Stoneheart, in his teachings, held that all who can help defend others should, we healers feel bound to provide knowledge of these magics to the bones of Pale Shores and beyond freely. I speak for other healers when I say there is no better use of our abilities than to ensure than more avocs can be helped through the passing of this knowledge.
