Southern Ridge is the geographically distinct Local Group in The Blade.1 Here, like in much of Vale Reef, the planet-stars and star-planets are close enough and humid enough that mist and water vapour moves freely through space, as the atmospheres are just weak enough to allow it.1 Due to the mist, entire planet-stars can sometimes be obscured, and the area is considered somewhat off limits to space-travelers.
